Central Pierce Fire & Rescue
Back in late 2015 Central Pierce Fire & Rescue was contracted to provide fire protection services for East River Intercontinental Airport. After several months Central Pierce Fire & Rescue was then contracted to cover the rest of East River Community and through a government grant station 67 was built on Mowry and acted as the only station outside of the airport to service the community.
A little bit after that the department was given a grant for a new fire boat and to find a place to house it. The fire boat was bought with the rest of the grant money and was used to purchase an old East River Port Authority shed in Kirkstone where the boat remained till the boat station was moved to its current location in Pippen. Shortly after Central Pierce was contracted to cover East River Municipal Airport.
Currently, Central Pierce has five stations throughout East River Community and provides basic/advanced medical, fire protection and other services to the residents and visitors of East River Community.
